Orientation Meeting Before Championships
The orientation meeting is an official session held before the start of the championship. It brings together team leaders, coaches, and the organizing committee. Objectives of the Meeting
- Explain Championship Procedures: Provide an overview of the competition system, applied rules, and any special modifications if applicable.
- Clarify Attendance and Withdrawal Procedures: Explain how to register attendance, manage withdrawals, and handle inquiries during the competition.
Clarifying Championship Venues and Facilities
- Identify the gymnasium layout and apparatus locations.
- Explain entry and exit routes, seating areas for teams and coaches.
- Indicate locations of the organizing offices, judges’ area, medical center, and warm-up zones.
Reviewing the Championship Schedule
- Ensure that all teams are aware of official and non-official training times.
- Confirm competition times for each age group or level.
Clarifying Officials and Responsibilities
- Introduce the technical director, administrative officials, and organizing committee.
- Explain how to communicate with the organizing committee in case of inquiries or complaints.
Distribution of Official Documents
- List of Players: To review and correct any missing or incorrect names or ages (especially for age-category competitions).

Special Additions for International Championships
- Vault Numbers Submission: Teams must submit the vault numbers for each gymnast in advance, following FIG regulations.
- New Elements Submission: If a gymnast plans to perform a new element not previously listed in the Code of Points, a formal submission must be made to the Technical Committee for approval before the event.
